AUCA’s ultimate goal has always been to offer something for everyone, regardless of whether they are a beginner or if they are a grandmaster.
We recognize that students prefer to have a social approach to chess. Hence, we made our weekly sessions a place that students can go to after a long and tiring day of studies, to relax with alike students over a game of chess, and the start of each semester with catered pizza and drinks. Around 70% of our members are beginners – a strength that allows us to innovate and host exciting new events to market the game. We also acknowledge the abundance of talented players within the community and look to offer tournaments with huge prizes for them too. Our drive stems from the diversity of our community.
