The month of January in New Zealand is the height of
summer, and Queenstown is a popular holiday destination. Accommodation (and car
hire if required) is best booked well in advance, to get the best choice of
places and rates.
Tip: check before booking that your accommodation is within
easy walking distance of the Millennium Hotel venue - you will arrive more
relaxed for your games! It is also nice to be able to stroll home from the
Queenstown town centre, after a glass or two of Pinot Noir in the evening.
Finding somewhere close to the venue/town centre should be
easy - there is a wide choice of places to stay in Queenstown.
